It all began with a simple love for tea. I, Christina McAlpin, found solace and joy in the art of brewing and sipping this wonderful drink. As my passion for tea blossomed, so did my love for hosting tea parties. Nestled in my colorful garden, surrounded by thriving roses, these gatherings became a symbol of warmth, connection, and exploration.
My sister, Veronica, was a constant companion in these tea-infused adventures. Unable to travel herself, she lived vicariously through my tales and the global flavors I brought back from my journeys. Together, we embraced the beauty of diverse cultures, sharing laughter, stories, and, of course, countless cups of tea.
Tragedy struck when Veronica passed away a few years ago, leaving behind a void that seemed impossible to fill. Yet, her spirit and our shared love for tea lived on in the annual tea parties I continued to host. These gatherings became a tribute to her, a way to keep her memory alive through the traditions we cherished.
In the midst of grief, a seed of inspiration took root. Why not share these incredible experiences with others? Thus, the idea of Veronica’s International palace of Tea was born—a place where tea enthusiasts and wanderlust souls could embark on a global journey through their tea cups.
While opening a physical store posed logistical challenges, I found a different path to achieve my goal—a subscription service. Each month, our subscribers receive a carefully curated selection of teas with recipes and travel tips from different corners of the world. It's more than just a box; it's an invitation to savor the flavors of distant lands, experience diverse cultures, and create moments that linger in your memory.
